Fully accessible and totally flexible
Finding a place to hold a meeting, conference, training session or other event can be difficult if you need fully accessible facilities. Our conferencing facilities are tried and tested because we use them on a day-to-day basis.
The ecdp conferencing team has recently organised a number of high profile events, including a large conference for Essex County Council, hosting the Disability Rights Commission and a visit by the Minister for Disabled People. Our experience in conferencing and event management is not only specially focussed on the needs of disabled people, but offers superb facilities to all organisations at competitive rates.
What we offer
The ecdp head office, Ivan Peck House, is located near the centre of Chelmsford in Essex. It has its own free disabled car parking, totally step free access and is designed to meet the daily needs of disabled people. It is also staffed by people with disability or those who work alongside disabled people on a daily basis.
From a meeting space for four people,to a theatre style layout for larger groups, all with the access and facilities you need to make life easy, ecdp conferencing offers a number of rooms that can be configured to suit many different types of event.
Jamieson
Jamieson Room is ideal meetings of up to 4 people. We can agree special rates if you would like to book this room on a regular basis.

Silvermist
A large flexible space that can accommodate up to 40 delegates theatre style or 20 boardroom style. The room has a purpose built dividing wall that allows it to be converted into two rooms: Sliver and Mist.
Divided up, the smaller rooms can accommodate up to 16 people theatre style or 20 boardroom style.
Sliver and Mist are fully equipped with projectors, smartboards, whiteboards, flipcharts and OHPs. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

- Fully Interactive Smart Board £50 per day
- Professional teleconferencing facilities £30 per day plus call charges
- Video/DVD & Laptop £30 charge for whole day, £15 for a half day session
- Photocopying is charged at 3p per black & white A4 sheet, 5p per colour A4 sheet.
Portable hearing loop, flip charts and media projector available free of charge
Tea, fresh coffee and biscuits and a range of catering can be provided on request.
