Disabilities Minister launches 'Be Disability Confident' roadshow in Essex
The Minister for Disabled People, Justin Tomlinson MP, has launched Essex’s Be Disability Confident employer roadshow.
The roadshow, which will visit every district in the county over the next year, aims to engage and encourage employers across Essex to help increase the number of working age adults with disabilities in employment.
William Snagge, Director of Policy and Development for ecdp said:
'ecdp is delighted to support this important launch. We work closely with many of the partners associated with the initiative including Essex County Council, North Essex University Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (NEP), and JobcentrePlus and we were also closely involved with the team that conceived and developed the early ideas and concepts that promoted the programme. We are committed to supporting delivery, in any way we can.'
