ecdp holds Strawberry Fayre for volunteers
To celebrate National Volunteer Week (1-7 June 2013), ecdp held it’s first ever Strawberry Fayre. At ecdp we recognize that many of our services and programmes simply wouldn’t exist without volunteer support.
National Volunteer Week was an opportunity to say thank you and to celebrate the fantastic contribution volunteers make to ecdp. The event was attended by volunteers and staff, who enjoyed champagne, strawberries and cream and lots of cake.
We are currently running a project called the Peer Navigator Programme. The project matches volunteers with disabled people who would benefit from advice and guidance from others in similar situations. The aim of the programme is to empower disabled people to better manage long term health conditions.
Become a volunteer Peer Navigator today. You will enhance your CV, learn excellent skills and above all, make a difference.
