ecdp Works recognised at prestigious awards
On 19 June 2013, ecdp Works was highly recommended for the prestigious Business in The Community Award at a gala dinner ceremony in Cambridge in recognition for services to the local Essex community.
In partnership with the private sector group MITIE and Jobcentre Plus, ecdp has designed and delivered a work experience training programme that offers unemployed disabled individuals the opportunity to participate in meaningful work placements and improve their confidence and well-being as a concrete pathway to permanent employment.
Over 50% of ecdp Works participants have gone on to find fixed term or full time employment.
Thursday 07 July 2016 is THE BIG HEALTH DAY from 10am to 3pm.
Disability Essex provided advice, support and a place to socialise for disabled people, their families and carers since 1949 but has closed due to financial difficulties.
