ecdp contribution recognised as Government publishes ‘Fulfilling Potential-Making it Happen’
On 2 July 2013 the Government published ‘Fulfilling Potential – Making it Happen’, alongside the ‘Fulfilling Potential: Making it Happen Action Plan’.
’Fulfilling Potential - Making it Happen’, emphasises the need for innovative cross sector partnerships with disabled people and their organisations and promoting new ways of working to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Mike Adams OBE, CEO of ecdp says:
“We welcome the commitment of the Government to support the innovative work carried out by Disabled People User Led Organisations (DPULO) such as ecdp. As members of the Disability Action Alliance, ecdp is proud to have contributed to the document. Our members’ lived experience is at the heart of all we do, and we ensured their voice was included in our response to a consultation we took part in last year.’
ecdp will continue to include the voice of lived experience in all we do.
