ecdp delighted to announce award of Thurrock Council contract
ecdp is delighted to announce it has been awarded the Direct Payment contract by Thurrock Council until 2017, for which we are the current provider
Tom Blackburn, Insight Operations Manager, ecdp, says ‘We are now looking forward to continuing our positive working relationship with Thurrock Council as we deliver this contract over the next three years.’
We also deliver a Personal Health Budgets service in this area, and alongside this and the delivery of the Direct Payment service, we will be providing additional activities throughout Thurrock.
ecdp will have a base in the newly established Community Hubs throughout Thurrock, and will be on hand to support local people. We will be recruiting volunteers in the area who can champion Direct Payments and raise awareness of how social care users can have greater choice and control. Over the forthcoming year, ecdp will also deliver training to personal assistants and their employers.
