ecdp Works begins fourth cycle
Nearly 7 million people of working age in the UK are disabled or have a long term health condition, and we believe that with the right support, employers can harness the potential of this group.
At ecdp our fourth cycle of enthusiastic ecdp Works participants have begun their training week.
ecdp Works involves a combination of training, a work experience placement and ongoing support. With a record of over 50% of participants finding fixed term or full time employment as a result of the programme, we are confident our latest ecdp Works participants will be successful.
Mitie, the FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing company, has supported the programme since its very beginning in 2012, and will continue to demonstrate their desire to be Disability Confident during this cohort. Work experience placements will also be hosted by Essex Police, Lambert Smith Hampton and South Essex Partnership Foundation Trust.
Thursday 07 July 2016 is THE BIG HEALTH DAY from 10am to 3pm.
Disability Essex provided advice, support and a place to socialise for disabled people, their families and carers since 1949 but has closed due to financial difficulties.
