Today marks the start of the fourth cycle of our flagship programme ecdp Works
For the duration of this eight week programme, we’ll be writing blog posts, to keep everyone up-to-date on the progress of our participants. And we’ll be introducing them to you to throughout the week.
This year Project Manager Rachel Vipond has established great working relationships with our new partners and hosts for the programme. We’ll be working with some old friends, and some new organisations too.
First of all, Mitie will be helping out again in a really big way. They’ve been partners with us since the very start of ecdp Works in 2012.They’ll be joined by Essex Police, who are supporting us by providing seven work experience places for our participants this year.Such a big investment really shows the confidence Essex Police has in ecdp Works.
We’ll be working closely with Lambert Smith Hampton, a property company working all over the UK and Ireland. This is the first time Lambert Smith Hampton have hosted for ecdp Works, and it’s brilliant that they’re taking this step towards being a Disability Confident business. The fourth organisation we’re teaming up with this year is the South Essex Partnership Trust, who provide healthcare all across the South East of England.
