Council for Disabled Children launches Early Support app
The Early Support app provides an easy way for the parents or carers of a disabled child to store, share and organise information about their child and the support and services they receive. It places families at the centre, enabling them to choose what information to upload, and who they want to share information with; be that doctors, nurses, teachers or social workers. It also provides a single plan format that can form the basis for the new Education, Health and Care Plan.
Information can be uploaded as text, photographs, resources or documents. Once families have created a record for their child they simply send invites to those they want to share with.
Thursday 07 July 2016 is THE BIG HEALTH DAY from 10am to 3pm.
Disability Essex provided advice, support and a place to socialise for disabled people, their families and carers since 1949 but has closed due to financial difficulties.
