National Visually Impaired Youth Swimming Gala
British Blind Sport are continuing to accept entries from individuals and groups for the upcoming National Visually Impaired Youth Swimming Gala.
The entry deadline is Friday 27 February 2015.
Going into its 40th year of events and celebrations, British Blind Sport is pleased to continue our delivery of the National Visually Impaired (VI) Youth Swimming Gala in 2015 with the event taking place on Wednesday 11th March.
Once again the annual event will take place in the West Midlands at the Tudor Grange Leisure Centre, Solihull.
This event is the only specific VI Youth swimming competition in the UK, attracting a number of blind or partially sighted young people from across the country.
The gala is open to blind or partially sighted young people, aged between 9 years and 17 years. Races are open to all abilities and include freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and relays.
Once an entry registration form has been received by British Blind Sport we will send through the Race Choices Form for the participants and Event Information Pack.
The National VI Youth Swimming Gala provides a great opportunity for the young people to gain a positive experience of visually impaired competition in a sociable and fun environment.
