The pay is £8.50 an hour. There are 10.5 hours available so I will consider either part-time or full-time staff. Pattern of working, Monday to Friday, 1 hour each evening (1600-1700 hrs) and 4.5 hours flexible.

We are looking for a reliable, experienced and capable person to care for a 50 year old gentleman who has Huntington’s disease. He lives at home with his family and requires help with every aspect of daily life. The ideal person to join our small team of regular carers would be cheerful, confident and have plenty of patience and initiative. You would be expected to be sensitive and take time to get to know this gentleman as his ability to communicate his wishes is very limited.

Daily Care duties would include personal care

Helping in and out of bed and reclining chair, preparing regular nutritious meals. Administration and taking of medications

The pay is between £7.00 and £8.00 an hour according to experience. There are 36 hours available over 3 days, although some flexibility may be required. Pattern of working: 12 hour shifts (8.00am to 8.00pm)
