Phil Miller Memorial Bursary

Portrait of Phil MillerSince the sad loss of ECDP's founder member and former Chief Executive, Phil Miller, in March 2005, the Directors, Trustees and Staff have been discussing how to remember his passion for the Civil Rights Movement and the contribution he made to the quality of life for disabled people in Essex. In particular, we are mindful of Phil's personal struggle for equality in Higher Education and his enthusiasm for the empowerment of young disabled people.

Therefore, the Directors Trustees and Staff at ECDP have pleasure in presenting the Phil Miller Memorial Bursary which we hope will serve as a continuing celebration of Phil's life and will remember his passion for the support of young disabled people in Essex.
