What we do

ecdp works in a wide variety of ways to support disabled people and those who, in turn, support them. We are also actively engaged at many levels in shaping the policies that impact on their lives.

People’s lived experience is core to ecdp. We use a range of methods to gather and collate the lived experience that members of ecdp and the wider community share with us.

The insights we gain from your stories help us to provide a range of services. Some of these are provided free of charge as part of our commitment to supporting the empowerment of disabled people. We also offer some services  that we ask users to pay for – for example, our payroll services. We always aim to keep our costs as low as possible and, if we can, offer better value than commercial providers. And, what’s more, you get services delivered by those with experience of living with disability.
