What is ecdp Works?

ecdp Works is a pioneering and highly effective employment programme. It is a big part of how ecdp makes real its vision to enhance the everyday lives of disabled people in Essex and beyond.

The programme consists of:

  • Employability training, focusing on communication skills, confidence building, teamwork, leadership and networking
  • A six-week work experience placement matched according to needs and career aspirations
  • Follow-up training, focusing on writing a quality application and CV, interview skills and job-search techniques
  • Ongoing support, including 12 weeks of weekly contact and any additional support

Our partners

ecdp work with a range of corporate and public sector organisations to ensure that participants on the ecdp Works programme gain meaningful work experience in rewarding placements.
